Subject: Kinda different and not terrible..
I enjoyed it for the most part.
I don't know what the other reviewer was talkin' about comparing the male lead to Andrew Dice Clay!! I thought he was mostly charming, and not the worst looking guy(The star, not Mr. Clay-See Review Below)
It was well-enough acted, interesting setting, characters, plot twists (well, gentle curves at least).
It could have used a bit more of the horror aspect, which mostly comes out toward the end.
Really it's the sort of thing I'm generally looking for when I seek out an old sci-fi or horror flick.

Subject: good
This is entertaining to those who love old places like Manila. Vic Silayan's mask did not scare me at all but his acting was good. He was one of the respected actors until the late 80's. Vic Diaz was a very good character actor. This is just a low budget film and sadly these actors can do more than what they'd shown here.

I tried to watch, but the leading man has all the charm of Andrew Dice Clay. It just gave me the creeps.
